After three years of collaboration with a local subcontractor, COMECA created its own subsidiary COMECA Morocco in 2007. Initially located in Mohammedia, the plant finally moved to Casablanca in 2012 in response to a strong activity growth. Today, it is completely independent at the organizational level (human resources, accounting, etc.).
COMECA Morocco is specialized in the manufacture of harnesses of all sizes, from small to large series, for railway, military, aeronautical or automotive applications. Once assembled, harnesses are then exported to France to be either integrated inside electrical panels or directly integrated by the customer into rail cars in assembly line. The intermediate operation of integration in panel is carried out in one of the French COMECA France production units, specialists in embedded cabling, all certified ISO 9001 and IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard). Finished equipments are ultimately integrated into COMECA customers’ rail vehicles.
COMECA’s Moroccan subsidiary owns 4000 m² premises on 6000 m² of land. Constantly focused on customer satisfaction, 220 employees use their skills to satisfy key account customers expectations and offer quality products.
